Theatre Shows
My Brother And I Are Porn Stars (April 2007)
Think Romeo and Juliet without the happy ending.
In our opinion this was the best show at the Edinburgh Festival last year. We loved it so much that Soho Theatre and I are flying them out from New Zealand for a 4 night run from April 11th-14th in the main space of The Soho Theatre as part of the Spill festival. And because it’s Easter they’ve written some new material about Christian porno. Prepare to be seduced and horrified in equal measure!
Toju – Live and Unleashed (February 2007)
We have co-produced 3 nights at The Soho Theatre, 8 to 10 February 2007, which translated into 3 hours of kick arse new material and amazing audience interaction. We filmed all 3 nights and are about to edit them into a stand alone dvd.
Laura Solon (August 2005)
Written and performed by Laura Solon. Having discovered this brand new comic 2 years ago Gary Reich directed and produced a live show which we took to the 2005 Edinburgh Festival. We went on to win the most prestigious comedy award in the country - the Perrier. She is only the second woman in 25 years and the first in 10 years to achieve this.
nobleandsilver: getoffme
Written and performed by Kim Noble and Stuart Silver. Having discovered this double act in 1999 I directed and produced a live show which I took to the 2000 Edinburgh Festival. We went on to win the most prestigious comedy award for debut acts in the country - the Perrier Newcomer. We went on to collaborate on their E4 series and numerous further live shows, including the 2005's sell-out Soho Theatre show. We are currently in discussion with Soho Theatre about a new production which they will specially commission
Andrew Clover's Celebrity Birthday
Starring Andrew Clover and co-devised with him, this was a spectacularly anarchic way of doing a chat show by recreating 2 guest's 6 year-old birthday parties and getting them to compete head-to-head for presents. A run in Edinburgh and at the Soho theatre in London proved deeply satisfying. Guests included Stephen K Amos and Dan Clark
