Kim Noble

Kim Noble Will Die (December 2009)

Kim Noble's sell-out show has returned to Soho theatre until January 9th after a critically acclaimed run at the Edinburgh fringe festival.

"Show of the decade"
****** Time Out

"FIVE comedy stars don't even touch the sides of what this breath-stopping show deserves."
***** Kate Copstick, The Scotsman

"Kim Noble’s first show for five years is the most remarkable thing I’ve seen this year... People blather on about the cutting edge of comedy. Well, for once, here it is."
**** Dominic Maxwell, The Times

"The show's construction – its skilful refusal to let the audience settle, its interplay between live and recorded action – implies artifice. But emotionally, it's excruciatingly raw."
Brian Logan, The Independant

"His show is part comedy, part performance art, part explicit pornography and part mental illness. It is genuinely and deeply unsettling, and makes us interrogate our laughter more completely than any show I have ever seen, whilst still eliciting that laughter."
*** Ian Shuttleworth, The Financial Times

"A new level of self-exposure has been reached with the artist and comedian Kim Noble's show"
**** Brian Logan, The Guardian

"The entire experience is genuinely unsettling, but punctured with coruscating flashes of wit."
Steve Bennett, Chortle

The first of the Brown Eyed Boy new talent showcases was a great success and we would like to thank the ten comics for all their hard work.

After three months of exhaustive cross country scouting Brown Eyed Boy found a fantastic new bill of stand up comics and comic performers who all performed at the first of our new, monthly live showcases along with showings of all the brilliant new filmed sketches we have produced with them.

My Brother And I Are Porn Stars (April 2007)

Think Romeo and Juliet without the happy ending.

In our opinion this was the best show at the Edinburgh Festival last year. We loved it so much that Soho Theatre and I are flying them out from New Zealand for a 4 night run from April 11th-14th in the main space of The Soho Theatre as part of the Spill festival. And because it’s Easter they’ve written some new material about Christian porno. Prepare to be seduced and horrified in equal measure!

Andrew Clover's Celebrity Birthday

Starring Andrew Clover and co-devised with him, this was a spectacularly anarchic way of doing a chat show by recreating 2 guest's 6 year-old birthday parties and getting them to compete head-to-head for presents. A run in Edinburgh and at the Soho theatre in London proved deeply satisfying. Guests included Stephen K Amos and Dan Clark
